A specific technique that I use to improve the readability of my content was to add descriptions to the bullet points in the service lists because my original introductory paragraph only had the services with no extra information, so for my updated version I decided to add short and clear descriptions of what the reader would be getting out of the service, and it’s effective because it adds clarity so a new reader won’t have to guess what “Check-ins” mean, it’s easier to scan because instead of stopping to figure out what each service means, the reader instantly gets it and has the option to either scan the larger text services or also read what that service entails and offers. Lastly, descriptive services can make customers more likely to book because they’re not left wondering how the service works or what their options are, and it also encourages more trust and authenticity because by adding specific keywords like letting them know that their pets are always in safe and professional hands and that the workers are CPR certified and are all background checked, it gives people a bigger motivator to trust and want to book a service.
