I picked these pictures because they help show and convey my business’s message. Instead of using words, I picked the most effective pictures that show what I’m trying to showcase to my visitors because sometimes text does not amount at all to the effectiveness that pictures have on people. Each picture shows a different part of the experience we give to the pets we care for, such as love, fun, trust, and professionalism. When pet owners are looking for someone to watch their pet, they want to feel reassurance right away by making sure that the people with whom they’re leaving the care of their pet with knows what they’re doing, are experienced, and can be trusted. These photos help convey this message by showing the emotional connections between people and pets. It lets pet owners scrolling through my website or reading my content quickly get a feel for what my business truly is, what we truly stand for and how we treat the animals.
The photos also help bring emotion into the post. You can tell from the way the pets look in the picture that they’re being cared for and feel safe and happy with the people they’re with. For example, you can feel the happiness in the picture from looking at the dog’s face, and it’s effective because it clearly looks genuine and it’s adorable, and then it also shows the trust and confidence in the one picture with the girl and the dog because somebody else is carrying somebody else’s pet with no issue and the dog looks so happy to be there that its embracing the girl by kinda hugging her back. This type of connection between the pet and person matters because I wanted to make sure that the message from my business, Paws Around the Block, showcases that we treat our clients’ pets like family, we are professional and trustworthy, and animals feel comfort and happiness in our care. This is the message I wanted to put out the most because this is what my business stands for. From my perspective and from the perspective of a lot of pet owners, the most important things to look for in pet care are trust, experience, and confidence, and I feel these pictures display those emotions. The most important thing about my business is that I don’t want to promote it as just a service but instead as a safe and reliable place where pet owners can feel peace of mind and confidence when leaving their pets in proper care where workers genuinely care and love for the animals.
Since people also tend to remember what they see instead of what they read, using strong emotional images like these makes some messages more likely to stick with them. Instead of me saying “ We Care,” I wanted the pictures to show it and create emotions within the people, and I think these pictures can execute that.
